What Is AutoClose?
AutoClose is a Session Manager for Clarion applications. When users walk away from their desks with programs open, SQL connections time out, licenses are wasted on idle sessions, and data can be corrupted. AutoClose solves this automatically.
It monitors every open window . Forms, browses, reports . And tracks user activity. After a configurable period of inactivity, AutoClose starts closing windows one by one, giving the user a clear countdown and a chance to cancel. The program never slams shut all at once: each window closes independently, and the user is always in control.
Perfect for terminal services, Citrix, shared workstations, or any SQL-backed Clarion application where abandoned sessions are a data integrity and licensing risk.
